Robin is passionate about providing power solutions for customers by insightfully navigating the complexities of the electricity system. She works to unlock economic opportunities, energy innovation, and human potential. This began in her childhood in the California mountains where water and energy shaped the community as well as her time working on energy policy in Washington, DC.

She leads growth and strategy at Guzman, including origination and external engagement, utilizing her broad understanding of the energy sector to create win-win solutions. 

Before joining Guzman, Robin served as an advisor to a commissioner at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and as an energy and policy advisor to the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC). She also practiced law in Washington, D.C., including early work on offshore wind development and smart grids. Robin and her family moved to Denver in 2015 so she could serve as the General Counsel of an early stage distributed energy resource company, and then as an attorney at an energy and telecommunications law firm.

Robin graduated from Pomona College and Brigham Young University Law School. She’s a member of the Colorado, Washington, D.C., and California Bars. Robin and her husband Scott live in Denver with their two children.
