Robin leads Guzman Energy’s commercial teams and external engagement from marketing to policy. She is committed to win-win solutions that support communities and contribute to economic prosperity. She is a pragmatic optimist with almost 20 years of experience in the electric sector.
Before joining Guzman, Robin served as an advisor to a commissioner at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and as an energy and policy advisor to the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC). She also practiced law in Washington, D.C., including early work on offshore wind development and smart grids. Robin and her family moved to Denver in 2015 so she could serve as the General Counsel of an early stage distributed energy resource company, and then as an attorney at an energy and telecommunications law firm.
Robin graduated from Pomona College and Brigham Young University Law School. She’s a member of the Colorado, Washington, D.C., and California Bars. Robin and her husband Scott live in Denver with their two children, Oliver and Eliza.
