As Guzman Energy’s Senior Director of Southeastern Origination, Rob is responsible for developing and negotiating long-term power purchase agreements with cooperatives, municipal utilities, and large loads across the Southeast U.S. He has over two decades of experience in the power sector through roles at the New York Independent System Operator, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, and Southern Power. His work has covered wholesale power trading, risk management, congestion trading, origination, and business development across both organized and bilateral U.S. power markets.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Power Systems from the University of Alabama. He lives in Vestavia Hills with his wife, Christy, and their two sons. When not at work, he stays active in his community and enjoys fishing, golf, and coaching his sons’ youth sports teams.
