Juan Cappellin has been with Guzman Energy since 2015, starting as an intern and growing into a leadership role over nearly a decade. Juan’s role includes structuring and pricing contracts, resource planning, and financial modeling. His strategic use of advanced tools like PLEXOS has enabled Guzman to deliver affordable, sustainable energy solutions to underserved markets.
Juan’s academic background includes a Master’s in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana. He also holds a LEED GA certification, emphasizing his commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
Outside of work, Juan dedicates time to serving on the board of a nonprofit and enjoys going back to his roots in Venezuela. In his free time, he loves bass fishing, finding solace in the outdoors and connecting with nature.
