Guzman Energy Expands Operations and Commercial Teams

Wholesale power provider poised for growth and expansion

DENVER, CO – August 19, 2025 – Guzman Energy, a wholesale power provider for U.S. communities and organizations seeking better power solutions, announced today the addition of several new roles and team members. All will contribute to Guzman Energy’s plans for growth in new market segments, product offerings and geographic expansion.

  • Scott Manley has joined Guzman Energy in the new role of Executive Vice President, Director of Operations. In this role, Scott is leading the day to day operations of the trading, day ahead / real time, market integration, and asset management functions at Guzman as well as the development of new service offerings that capitalize on Guzman’s proven capabilities and deep market knowledge. Scott brings over 20 years of experience leading high-performing teams in dynamic environments, in both the military and various industrial business settings. Scott spent nine years in the US Army after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, serving as an infantry platoon leader and Special Forces detachment commander over the course of numerous deployments to Afghanistan, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Since leaving the military to attend Harvard Business School, he has focused on leading teams in operations-intensive settings, both as a consultant at McKinsey & Company focused on operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness for clients in the energy and materials sectors and as the leader of a growth-oriented industrial manufacturing business unit at Gates Corporation.
  • Tim Hall has joined Guzman Energy as Vice President of Commercial. Tim joins the Guzman Energy Commercial Team in a new role partnering with existing and new Guzman wholesale customers, as well as capitalizing on market opportunities such as serving the needs of data center customers with intensive power needs. Tim has worked in power and utilities for over a decade with increasing leadership roles at Southern Company, GridLiance – NextEra Energy, and Tallgrass. Alongside his extensive development and origination experience across power generation and FERC-regulated transmission, Tim has held leadership roles in regulatory and external affairs, transmission planning, construction and engineering, and system operations. He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
  • Andrew Garber has joined Guzman Energy as Director of Commercial Structuring. In this role, Andrew will bring a creative problem solving mindset to projects requiring rigorous business analysis to identify optimal power solutions for Guzman customers. Andrew brings over 10 years of experience in program management, business analytics and application development for organizations including Visa, Xcel Energy and Accenture. Andrew also served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submarine officer. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and received a Masters of Business Administration from University of Washington Foster School of Business as well as a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
