As Guzman Energy’s Director of Commercial, Danielle is responsible for partnering with wholesale customers and suppliers, driving strategic growth in wholesale energy markets through supply-side resource procurement and development, and enhancing existing customer relationships. Danielle has nearly a decade of experience in power and utilities through her roles at the California Independent System Operator, GridLiance a NextEra Energy Transmission Company, and NextEra Energy Resources. Her background spans market policy development, organized markets, origination, and generation and transmission development.

She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Power Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Danielle lives in Denver and is a proud fifth-generation Coloradan. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and traveling.
