Case Study: Kit Carson Electric Cooperative (KCEC), Taos NM

KCEC partnered with Guzman Energy in 2016 to stabilize power costs, regain local control, and accelerate renewable energy. Since then, the co-op has saved an estimated $150–170 million, added nearly 50 MW of local solar plus storage, reached 100% daytime solar, and become one of the cleanest energy cooperatives in the U.S.

Case Study: Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA), Delta, CO

Since partnering with Guzman Energy in 2020, DMEA has stabilized wholesale power costs, improved financial performance, and expanded local renewable generation. The co-op has saved millions, achieved five consecutive years of stable rates, restored local control, and brought the 80 MW Garnet Mesa agrivoltaic solar project online to serve members and regional customers.

Case Study: City of Aztec, NM

Since becoming one of Guzman Energy’s first wholesale customers in 2016, the City of Aztec has secured reliable, affordable, and price-stable power while expanding local solar generation. The partnership enabled Aztec to build a 1-MW solar facility and continue meeting its remaining power needs through Guzman’s dependable wholesale supply.
