Scott is Guzman Energy’s Executive Vice President, Director of Operations.

He applies his executive strategy and leadership skills to the Guzman Energy operations center where physical power is scheduled to customers from intermittent and dispatchable resources across multiple markets and transmission systems.  He also develops new and better ways to optimize our customer offerings and engage in the day-to-day efforts required to provide shaped power to our customers.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the military and industrial business sectors, Scott has served as an infantry platoon leader and Special Forces detachment commander in the U.S. Army, consulted at McKinsey & Company, and led an industrial manufacturing business unit at Gates Corporation. He graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point where he was on the golf team and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

He lives in Denver with his wife and two daughters.
