Senator John Hickenlooper visited Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) to discuss the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act for rural communities. DMEA’s leadership team, along with board president Kyle Martinez and Elevate Chairman Ken Watson, met with the senator during his visit. The visit coincided with the approval of a limited-use permit for the Garnet Mesa Solar project, a collaboration between DMEA, Guzman Energy, and Citra Power. The solar project will enhance DMEA’s local energy resources and contribute to renewable energy generation in the area.
