KCEC & Guzman Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrating 100% Daytime Solar and Energy Independence Event

On June 3rd, 2022 Kit Carson Electric Cooperative (KCEC) and Guzman Energy celebrated the cooperative’s achievement of providing 100% of its daytime power with solar energy. The Taos Mesa 15 MW solar array and 12.5 MW battery storage project will provide members with reliable and low cost electricity.
