Garnet Mesa Solar Farm Gets Green Light

Delta County commissioners have approved the construction of the Garnet Mesa solar farm project, overturning a previous decision. Concerns were raised by some community members regarding the use of agricultural land, interference with air land strips, property values, and potential health risks, but the commissioners ultimately approved the project after determining that all recommended conditions had been met.
