Leo is the founder and CEO of Guzman Energy, a new type of energy company designed specifically to help transition an outdated energy economy into a renewable age. He also founded and serves as CEO of Guzman & Company, an investment bank and broker dealer with a proud 30-year operating history. Prior, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Gulf Investments Company, Vice President in the Merchant Banking Group of the Chase Manhattan Bank, and a member of mergers and acquisitions group at Lazard Frères in New York City.
In 2005, President George W. Bush appointed Leo to a three-year term on the Advisory Committee of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Leo graduated from Columbia University with a degree from the school of engineering prior to earning an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in Finance. He has served multiple terms on boards at Columbia and Stanford, as well as on various securities industry advisory boards.
