Frank Wolak Joins Guzman Financial Engineers Board Of Advisors

Coral Gables, FL (July 1st, 2013) – Guzman Financial Engineers, an affiliate of Guzman & Company, and a top advisor to the energy and power industries announced the addition of Frank Wolak to its Board of Advisors.

Mr. Wolak serves concurrently as the Holbrook Working Professor of Commodity Price Studies and the Director of the Program on Energy and Sustainable Development at Stanford University. Frank specializes in the study of privatization, competition and regulation of industries such as electricity, telecommunications, water supply and natural gas.

From April 1998 to April 2011 Frank served as the Chair of the Market Surveillance Committee of the California Independent System Operator (CAISO). In this capacity, he has testified numerous times at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and at various committees of the US Senate and House of Representatives.

Mr. Wolak has worked extensively in the area of design and regulatory oversight of the energy markets of multiple international governments to include: England, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Australia, Indonesia, Korea, the Philippines, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador and many others. Domestically, he has contributed to design and market monitoring protocols in California, New York, Texas, PJM and New England.
